Looking at how similar scenarios played out in the past, checking out what's happening in the market now, and chatting with everyone from users to investors - it all helps build a clearer picture. Often, this process uncovers hidden opportunities too. By really getting the context and thinking about what might come next, we can turn tricky situations into chances to innovate.
this is a great post, thank you for sharing your perspective Rohan. I think the appreciate for risk also varies across different product roles. I came from enterprise/finance/payment PM background so risk is always top of mind for me in any product discovery process. When I switched to consumer PM, I was surprised by how little risk is a part of any product conversation.
